About us
Fandango is a coffee roastery born in Stockholm, in 2025. After working for about ten years in the coffee industry in different countries, we decided to settle in Sweden to develop what would be Fandango's foundation.
We tried our very best to combine our passion for coffee and art, in a way that it feels fresh and welcoming. Fandango was created with the desire of combining a more 'medieval', 'baroque' or 'antique' aesthetic while respecting the leading industries criteria.
From the very beginning our idea was to offer high-quality coffees in the most harmonious possible way: by respecting the industries workers, and having a minimum impact on nature.
We get into the business full of enthusiasm and ideas. Striving to do our bit in this beautiful and young industry.
our philosophy
In general there is little correlation with quality and equity. Most of the time one is left aside for the other, but in the end they somehow 'coexist'. But coffee, besides most of the industries, did know none of them until a few decades back. Moreover, this change could not have been possible without the persistency and effort of countless people through the globe. But, above all of those who sit high on the arduous scale of fight, we might find that farmers are above them all. Here at Fandango we pay tribute to those who work the hardest, and therefore, we make sure that they are getting pay fairly by closely collaborating with the importers we work with.
We like to call ourselves a roastery with a focus 'on the producer and the plant'. That is what 'In plantis confidimus' or, 'In plants we trust' stands for. Is a back to the roots. To the soil. To the farmer. A travel to the past while looking into the future.
collaboration
The world is wide and plural, and It has many voices of different strenghts. And unfortunately sometimes certain voices can fall behind those making all the noise; taking all the attention. We belive that is important to listen to as many farmers as we can, to taste as much coffee as we can, and not to fall into the trends of the industry of working just with progressive and stablished farmers. Which, even we are of the opinion that their work is valuable for the industry and they will always be included in our line-up, we mostly bet for long time relationships with smallholders regardless their current status or name in the industry.
Vision
We seek for expressive and delicious coffees in all the producing countries. Always thriving for clarity and uniformity on flavor.
We profile our coffees in a way that respects the attributes of the beans and all the effort is held behind.
Every coffee has its own character, and for us is of paramount importance to study the coffees through to bring up all their qualities for the different brewing methods.
Longstanding relationships with all our partners are very precious to us, as it does ensure sustainable businesses and consistency on quality.
retribution
In the food chain is very complicated to know what it takes to make the final product. And to find information about it, as a consumer, sometimes is nearly impossible. This is why we, as a company, took the compromise of opening our cost of operation to our costumers and to anyone that is interested to know how much it costs us the farm-to-bag process.
We believe that this not only gives the costumer better understanding of the process, but it also gives a better understanding of what a farmer gets out of the operation. It gives the consumer more tools to take future decisions.
